The struggles of TED

2 years ago I was diagnosed with thyroid eye disease aka TED Graves disease. It impacted my life in so many ways.

Impact on daily life

I wasn't able to drive at night because of my vision deteriorating due to TED. I was embarrassed of the way I looked. I looked like a monster. I had a hard time sleeping at night. When I finally was able to fall asleep, I would sleep for days. If I had to work the next day I would wake up feeling exhausted like I didn't sleep a wink.

Starting treatment

Now, I'm on my 3rd Tepezza infusion and I feel great. I'm able to drive more at night without blurry vision. I feel better about my appearance and getting back to my normal life.
