My story

I was recently diagnosed with TED and my biggest problem is painful dry eye. My ophthalmologist told me because my eyes bulged, even though very slightly, it was enough that my eyelids did not close completely at night. The ceiling fan above my bed further irritated my symptoms.

What is helping me

My doctor told me about moisture chambers specifically designed for treating dry eye symptoms (available on Amazon) He then told me not to go through the expense and recommended eye drops and swimming goggles. They do the same thing as moisture chambers!
Just a few minutes when my eyes are tired. The goggles fog up, creating moisture. Works wonders! In the mean time, I am pending an appointment with a TED Specialist.
