What misconceptions have you heard/experienced about thyroid eye disease?
I was diagnosed with Graves Disease first about 20 years ago and had radiation iodine therapy . my eyes had dark circles on the eyelid the gap between my eyebrow and eyelid got fat and heavy like a neanderthal
man . totally disfigured my looks

My eyes not only bulged but went in different directions. It completely changed my life. I couldn't look in the mirror. Surgery helped alot but I still have double vision. I still don't look the same. It's devastating.

I am about to have my last Tepezza infusion. Side effects are frustrating, but the infusions have helped my eyes significantly.
