Curious if anyone was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer before Graves
I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer about
5-6yrs ago. Did the Chem/Rad. A few months after treatment finished I developed Graves Disease'.
So I'm curious to find out if others have been in the same or similar position.
I refused an esophagectomy.

I must say I've been through a lot. November 2023 I started the 500ml of intravenous prednisolone treatment for 12 weeks for Thyroid Eye. During that I got influenza A for 2wks.over Xmas. Then a few months later sitting watching tv and I literally burst my left ear drum. So I was deaf in that ear for 6wks. Then I got COVID, Plus recently .. hallucinations (Spiders).
Severe fatigue. That started to progressively get worse since my total thyroidectomy 3yrs ago.
On the bright side, I have decompression surgery in a week. It will be a long road. But looking forward to it.How are you doing today? Thank you for taking the time to share with us.
