VENT: How are you doing? - Really.

Life with a chronic condition, like thyroid eye disease (TED), has its challenges and frustrations - that is no secret. Sometimes it is helpful to talk about those frustrations or upsetting times and not keep them inside.

Whether you live with thyroid eye disease or are advocating for someone with the condition, it's essential to connect with others who understand the challenges and frustrations you may be facing.

So, share away! This is a safe space to vent about what's happening with you! How are you doing?

  1. I had my thyroid removed at 27 and I am now 64. I developed TED to the point of where both eyes would not close completely when I slept. I finished my last Tepezza infusion around eight weeks ago. I experienced several side effects such as cramps, bitter taste buds, weakness and a little hair loss. My eyes are much better since I don't sleep with them open. I still have a little cramping and my taste buds are not right.
