We are very excited to announce the launch of the Social Health Network and Awards! The Social Health Network is a community for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals with the goal of bringing empathy, support, and humanity to the healthcare industry.
What is social health?
We define social health as the dynamic, real-time action people take to find meaningful connections and share information that impacts the health journey. Our extensive research in social health and the patient experience, and continued patient leader partnerships, have given us the perfect opportunity to launch the Social Health Network - a community for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals with the goal of bringing empathy, support, and humanity to the healthcare industry.

Introducing the Social Health Awards
Have you heard about the Social Health Awards? The Social Health Awards, previously known as the WEGO Health Awards, is an awards program aimed at recognizing patient leaders who are making an impact for others in the community. Nominations for the Social Health Awards are open now and run until July 1st.
Go ahead and nominate a patient leader (or several) who has made an impact in your community! Award categories include Caregiving Champion, Community Cultivator, and Advocacy Trailblazer, just to name a few. There are so many incredible people within our communities. Give them some love and show them how appreciative you are of them.
The Social Health Awards are split into four different phases:
- Nominations | June 13-July 1st
- Endorsements | June 27th -July 1st
- Judging | July and August
- Celebration | September & October
