Managing double vision

Hello Everyone,
those of you who have double vision how do you manage to see single vision? I was diagnosed with thyroid disease last September and my eye doctor prescribed me prescription glasses and they added a stick on prism but I found myself going every week to get my eyes checked and adding stronger prisms weekly because they were moving a lot and I had a new prism every week for like two months. Now I’m just using frosted scotch tape on the left side of my prescription glasses so I can see single vision to drive until the end of May, I go to see my ophthalmologist at UCLA to see if my eyes have stopped moving in stabilized to see about Strabismus surgery.

  1. Just wanted to share one of our other community member's journey with double vision. https://thyroideyedisease.net/stories/double-vision-journey Hopefully it gives you some comfort to at least know you are not alone! If there's anything we can do to help, let us know. Keep on keepin 'on, DPM
